An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing (re)insurer in the Lloyd’s of London market, as an Agile Project Manager. This is a chance for an experienced and dedicated Agile Project Manager to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Agile Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful management of projects and ensuring the efficient implementation of Agile methodologies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as an Agile team coach and mentor to promote effective collaboration.
  • Collaborating closely with the Project Teams, Product Owner, stakeholders, and Architect to ensure a well-planned and committed roadmap.
  • Facilitating all Scrum events and ensuring they are productive and adhering to timeboxing.
  • Creating a collaborative environment to encourage high-performing teams.
  • Managing project status, RAID logs, and budget, and providing regular reporting on project progress.
  • Holding teams accountable for meeting their commitments and removing impediments as needed.
  • Defining project roadmaps, scopes, and schedules while prioritising value-driven deliveries.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding timelines and deliverables.
  • Implementing an effective project governance system to ensure project success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the role of an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master. (within the Lloyd’s of London Insurance market)
  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • Experience working with distributed agile teams.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as ADO, Jira, etc.
  • A proven track record of collaborating effectively with technical and business teams.
  • High self-motivation and adaptability to diverse project scenarios.
  • Previous experience in a broader role as an Agile Project Manager.
  • The ability to successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities, resources, and timelines.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex issues for various stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for continuous self-improvement and team development.
  • A willingness to express ideas and actively engage in productive discussions.

Location: EC3A
Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office)
