Job Title: Capital & Performance Modeller (FTC)
Term: 6 Months Fixed Term (likely extension)
Salary: £120,000.00 plus bonus
Location: London office
Start: Immediate
We are on the look out for an experienced captial modeller to join a well established, leading insurer & key player in the lloyds and london market.
This role will report to the Head of Capital and will be responsible for the delivery of capital and performance modelling output.
Responsibilities:
- Managing model output for a range of stakeholders
- Production and review of model documentation in accordance to regulatory compliance
- Communicate with stakeholders on all aspects of modelling, including bridgding the explanation between modelling and the real-world risk profile
- Support the Head of Capital in developing capital modelling trategies
- Managing and overseeing the work produced by analysts in the team
- Be a proactive contributor, driving a friendly, collaborative, inclusive and high performing actuarial team
Requirements:
- Understanding and exposure of capital models, business processes and tools
- Qualified - Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivelant
- Decision maker. problem solver, solution provider, creative and innovative thinker
- Self-motivated, seeker of development and continious improvement
- Interpersonal skills & adaptability to respond to changes of circumstances
- Excellent attention to detail
