Arthur is delighted to be partnered with a highly successful and growing Lloyds Broker who are looking to expand and develop their London team by bringing on board a Claims Broker/ECF Technician.
The position entails addressing the daily claims requirements of the business’s clients, including the handling of Property, Liability, and Transportation claims originating from the USA. This involves utilizing platforms such as ECF or broking/depositing claim files to Underwriters in the Lloyd’s or the Company market as instructed, while also delivering complete claims technical support to the department. Your Responsibilities:
Management of U.S. Property and Casualty claims
Facilitation of claims file brokering to Lloyd's Underwriters, XCS, and Company Markets
Oversight of claims files from initial advice to final settlement via ECF/Class
Timely escalation of any issues with claims files to the manager
Collaboration with colleagues to exchange market intelligence and remain abreast of current events
Provision of prompt and accurate responses to client correspondence to expedite claims advice and settlement
Administration of Claims Bordereaux onto ECF for agreement by Underwriters and XCS
Ensure wire transfers are made for settlement of claims on a monthly basis
What You Need:
Familiarity with the North American Property and Casualty Binding Authority business is advantageous, though not mandatory
Property Binding Authority is essential
Possessing expertise in claims technical operations, including the handling of monthly Claims Bordereaux for the North American Property and Casualty Binding Authority business
Demonstrating proficiency in numerical, articulation, and analytical skills
Exhibiting strong organizational and time management proficiencies
Displaying excellent verbal and written communication aptitude
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Outlook
Knowledgeable in the ECF/CLASS system
