We are working with a reputable Lloyd's Managing Agent as they look to increase the headcount and support of their Compliance function by adding a Compliance Analyst to their team.

Reporting into the Compliance Manager, this generalist compliance role will give you strong exposure to sanctions and financial crime in addition to offering support in advising, monitoring, reporting & procedural tasks relating to the UK/EU business and its regulators.

 
Key Responsibilities:
 

  •  Offering advice on all aspects of regulatory Compliance; including sanctions, financial crime, conduct risk, governance
  •  Reviewing and responding to sanctions queries from across the business (including overnight batch screening), logging all queries and creation of Financial Crime MI with the support of the Compliance Manager, Financial Crime
  •  Carrying out horizon scanning and maintaining up to date knowledge of UK regulators and international Sanction authorities with the support of the Compliance Manager
  •  Managing and/or co-ordinating regulatory returns including ad hoc regulatory requests with involvement from various business units within the company
  •  Support the production of compliance reports to committees and Boards
  •  Managing and/or supporting the required routine reviews of documents such as the SMCR Governance Map; Scope of Responsibilities; Whistleblowing effectiveness
  •  Supporting the production of an annual Financial Crime risk assessment and Annual MLRO report with the support of the Compliance Manager, Financial Crime
  •  Taking part in the compliance monitoring process, including preparing and writing reports, as well as following up.
  •  Collecting and analysing routine MI on an ad hoc basis
  •  Analysing opportunities to increase operational efficiency and offer solutions to improve existing compliance processes and procedures
  •  Utilising company-approved reporting mechanisms to effectively notify relevant teams of any perceived new risks or failures of existing control measures.
  •  Assisting colleagues in relation to the annual Compliance Plan
  •  Collaborating with the Compliance Operations team and wider European Compliance team
