Data Analyst Insurance £75k per annum London (Hybrid)
Are you a Data Analyst seeking a permanent job with a market leading insurance company based in central London? This role offers hybrid working (2-3 days per week in office) and a basic salary up to £75k per annum.
In this role you will play a vital role in supporting business analysis and data analysis activities. Your contributions will strengthen the Data team's capabilities, enabling the team to leverage data effectively and improve decision-making accuracy and efficiency.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience working within Insurance domain, possessing a comprehensive understanding of related business processes and subject areas such as Underwriting, Claims, and Actuarial.
Solid understanding of insurance data and its application in analytics, recognizing how data can drive substantial business value within the insurance industry.
Proficiency in Business Analysis processes, showcasing expertise in producing BA artifacts like business process diagrams and mapping documents.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse business and technical stakeholder groups both verbally and in writing.
Strong comprehension of data capabilities, including data quality and reference data management.
Advanced problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively articulate complex ideas verbally and in written form.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on experience with Specialty and Reinsurance Modeling data and processes.
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI.
Demonstrable interest and awareness in emerging technologies.
Previous experience in a leadership role or as a Scrum Master, with exposure to Agile and traditional SDLC delivery methodologies.
