Data Engineer

Data Engineer – SQL, Azure - £60,000 - Hybrid (London)

My client is a leading Global Insurer that are looking for an experienced Data Engineer or Data Analyst with experience of working on data platform projects, with additional cloud experience. Being successful will require you to be able to manage multiple project deliveries simultaneously and have an outstanding attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Translate data, analysis and commentary into a format for presentation to senior management
- Gather, interpret, identify gaps and translate business MI and reporting requirements into solutions.
- Provide technical support for the design, construction and maintenance of data and/or analytics solutions for the business.
- Coordination of data and analytics projects on the basis of existing methods, processes and tools.

Requirements:

- Experience of working as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
- Experienced and strong proficiency in SQL, as this will be tested throughout the process.
- Additional experience with cloud tools and Power BI would also be welcome.
- Strong communication skills.
