A London Market Insurer are in search of a Technical Data Analyst to assit in the management of the wider team and to train and implement new technology
The Technical Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring effective procedures and policies across the business to support data quality.
Job Role
Working with Data Engineer to ensure data controls are up to date and maintained
Hands–on experience on querying and extracting data from SQL.
Able to demonstrate epeince in the use of Snowflake and API's
Can confidently develope operationalising data-base guidelines, policies, procedures, and standard's
Developing and creating data artefacts including Business Glossaries and metadata management tools
Good understanding of reporting tools such SQL and Power BI
Managing various projects and initiatives to improve the data governance capability
Experience in data catalogue/ metadata management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Requirements
A minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in data governance, data quality or data management with input into the development of data governance and quality capabilities
3 years working experience within Insurance (Lloyds preferably)
Working experience with technologies such IBM, Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama etc.
