Delegated Underwriting Specialist

We are partnering exclusively with a specialist insurer who operate internationally, on both Company and Lloyd’s platforms, to support the hire of a Delegated Underwriting Specialist. 

You will be working alongside a knowledgeable and engaging Director within a small delegated authorities team. 

Being part of a smaller team will give you a real breath of exposure to every part of the delegated process, along with interactions with key internal stakeholders both in London and Europe. 

The team manage large and complex delegated arrangements and you will be working consultatively with underwriting teams, who will look to you for subject matter expertise around Lloyd’s frameworks and regulations.

You will be responsible for;

• Maintaining oversight and completing assessments of new and renewals delegated arrangements
• Working with the delegated team to maintain delegated documentation
• Reporting on delegated arrangements via underwriting committees
• Keeping up to date and informed of market and regulatory changes

 
You will have significant experience conducting binder renewal reviews and completing due diligence in line with Lloyd’s requirements and confident using Lloyd’s Delegated Authority IT systems including; DCOM, Atlas and DDM.
