IT Service Manager with extensive experience managing End User Computing services required by a market leading Insurance company in London. The role is paying up to £90k per annum DOE, with hybrid working (2-3 days per week on site).
You will oversee improvement of definition, management, and servicing of end user devices to improve service quality as part of a huge technology modernisation project. You will ensure that the business have operational control over delivery of business facing BAU service, develop and maintain technology standards, manage the technology roadmap, and provide oversight of new solutions.
You will have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / relevant certifications in business management or information systems
ITIL or other formal Service Management certifications
Professional experience delivering IT service management / end user device computing services
A good understanding of Windows Desktop, O365, SCCM, Citrix, VDI, Azure VD, mobile devices, Software Distribution and Patching
A good understanding of new and emerging end user technologies
Confidence to navigate complex IT operating environments
Experience of managing outsourced IT services providers
In the role you will:
Own operational governance of internal / 3rd party service teams providing technical support services to end users
Review trend of support cases to identify any areas of concern, propose and implement with minimum disruption to user operations
Identify and deliver opportunities for continual service improvement across the end user devices services operating model
Implement robust asset and configuration management tools and processes, change management, incident, problem practices and service reporting processes
Build and manage relationships with external 3rd party support partners as needed for service delivery, system maintenance, support and troubleshooting
