Arthur have partnered with a leading (Re)Insurer on the search for an Exposure Management Analyst. In this role you will analyse and report on exposure and capacity for natural catastrophes, terrorism, and casualty risks. You will also have the opportunity to support decision-making and contribute to catastrophe modelling within the insurance operation. This role is ideal for graduate candidates looking to kick-start their career within Catastrophe Modelling.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing data, ensuring accurate capture and reporting of worldwide syndicate losses and exposure.
Coordinating with data entry team and oversee the pre-risk process for natural catastrophe modelling.
Conducting pre-risk analysis, review weekly movement and utilisation of limits, and assist with monthly sign-off process.
Providing data extracts to external parties, meet with reinsurers to discuss results and analysis.
Proactively research and advise on new modelling systems and procedures.
Assisting with validation of new models and stay updated on industry regulations and methodologies.
Supporting the Exposure Manager with ad-hoc projects and stay informed about relevant technological developments.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Degree in a relevant scientific/numerical subject.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Have basic programming skills (SQL) and experience with AIR/RMS is a bonus.
