Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our finance transformation projects, ensuring effective business analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a leading insurance organization and contribute to significant transformations initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand the requirements and challenges of finance transformation projects within the insurance sector.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
Work closely with IT and finance teams to design, test, and implement new financial systems and processes.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective issue resolution and communication.
Provide expert advice and insights on best practices in finance transformation within the insurance industry.
Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive alignment and consensus on project objectives and deliverables.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst, with a focus on insurance and finance transformation projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering finance transformation projects within the insurance industry.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulations within the insurance sector.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Experience with project management software and tools.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
