Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our finance transformation projects, ensuring effective business analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a leading insurance organization and contribute to significant transformations initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand the requirements and challenges of finance transformation projects within the insurance sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Work closely with IT and finance teams to design, test, and implement new financial systems and processes.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective issue resolution and communication.
  • Provide expert advice and insights on best practices in finance transformation within the insurance industry.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive alignment and consensus on project objectives and deliverables.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Analyst, with a focus on insurance and finance transformation projects.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering finance transformation projects within the insurance industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulations within the insurance sector.
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
    • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
