Head of Finance Business Partnering

A leading Lloyd’s of London Insurance Firm, based in The City of London, requires a driven, qualified Finance Business Partner to lead their high performing team on a permanent basis.
You will be the key point of contact to the various teams such as underwriting, as well as external parties. You will be responsible for analysing both the Group and Syndicate Reinsurance MI, as well as full ownership of the P&L, both technical & non-technical. You will also have heavy input into the business planning & forecasting teams.
Key responsibilities:

• Delivering detailed MI to the Board
• Producing reports and analysis on Re-Insurance MI
• Drive the annual and strategic planning activities of the Group
• Provide financial analysis for senior stakeholders and Board members
• Assisting the CFO with board packs & commentary
• Responsible for capital and balance sheet management
• Heavily involved in developing and improving financial reporting processes

 
 
Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ICAEW or equivalent) with significant post-qualification London market insurance experience
• Analytical mind set with strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
• Extensive experience of engaging with senior stakeholders and challenging complex financial data
• Strong system and IT skills
