Arthur have partnered with a highly respected Lloyd’s Syndicate to introduce a graduate / junior actuarial analyst to their well-established team. They are looking for a knowledgeable candidate to provide support to their pricing team across multiple lines of business. 
This is a unique opportunity for a graduate or junior actuarial analyst to join a well-established Lloyd’s Syndicate and be directly involved in technical pricing and model development, across multiple lines of business.
The successful candidate will benefit from a fully immersive onboarding and induction process which has been created to offer you the best opportunity to succeed within the company. You will also have many opportunities for future learning and development.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate or a junior actuarial analyst (1 yr exp) and have an aptitude for learning software languages. Proficiency in Excel is essential. The successful candidate will have the desire to continue the IFoA exams (a competitive study package is offered).

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance pricing models across multiple lines of business.
• Assist with the parameterisation of the internal model.
• Build effective working relationships with co-workers in the Actuarial and Underwriting teams.
• Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.

 
From you they are looking:

• A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Aptitude for learning new software languages.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
• Proficiency in R, SQL, Tyche or are desirable.
• Any progression through the IFoA exams is desirable.
