Model Risk Manager

Arthur is delighted to be partnering with a global (re)insurer, who are actively seeking a Model Risk Manager to join their International Risk team.

The role offers an opportunity to join an active risk function and as a manager you will use your people management expertise to lead on validation of the internal model and evaluate and challenge a variety of models used to underpin the firm’s business.

Your regulatory expertise will allow for you to deliver effective model governance and risk management in line with regulatory standards and offer support to key stakeholders when engaging with the regulators.

Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration will ensure you can effectively represent the risk function at cross-functional and risk committees, as well as deputising for the Head of, when required.

Your skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Strong Solvency II, validation, and internal model experience
• Good understanding of underwriting products and insurance business models
• Mentoring/people management experience
• Excellent communicator/influencer
