Portfolio Management & Reinsurance Actuary

This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on portfolio management and be an integral part of outwards reinsurance for this international underwriting business. 

Dealing with several stakeholders at senior management level but also teams such as actuarial, cat/exposure management, and reinsurance; you will provide advice and analysis on both cat and non-cat portfolios.  This will include developing an underwriting risk model to provide accurate insight.  You will also be an active member on reinsurance placements, attending broker meetings with the responsibility for providing correct numbers. 

This will be for portfolios across the group with business written North America, Europe and Australasia.  

If you are keen to take on a role with unrivalled exposure to the underwriting of a business and use your actuarial skills to increase profitability as well as the reliability of reinsurance contracts, then this is for you. 

Ideally you will have knowledge of reinsurance contracts from either an underwriting or broking environment and have experience of dealing with underwriters/brokers from completing pricing, reserving or capital duties.
