A global re/insurer is looking for an actuary with London Market pricing experience to join their team in London. You will report into the Senior Actuary but will have almost complete autonomy over the work flow due to the structure of the team, which makes it a great opportunity for someone looking to work more independently whilst gaining visibility in the wider business. This position will work closely with the wider pricing and underwriting teams and have extensive exposure to internal stakeholders at all levels.
The main responsibilities of this role will be case pricing, portfolio monitoring and model development. The ideal candidate will have a few years of general insurance pricing experience, will be technically strong with professional proficiency in Python and / or R and modelling techniques. Those from a risk or capital background looking to move into pricing could be of interest to our client too. This role will be suitable for both qualified actuaries and those qualified by experience.
