Data focused Project Manager - London Market Underwriter
An opportunity to join a leading underwriter in the insurance industry committed to maintaining the highest standards in data governance. They are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to join their team.
This role will be instrumental in enhancing the data governance framework, ensuring data quality, and supporting strategic data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing, Embedding, and Supporting Data Lineage Tool
Oversee the implementation and integration of the chosen tool.
Provide ongoing support and training to ensure effective utilisation by the data teams.
Identify and prioritise strategic projects to improve data quality, security, and compliance.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
Take ownership of the Data Governance Programme, including strategy development and execution.
Monitor and report on data quality and compliance metrics.
Lead efforts to resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of experience in the London Insurance industry.
Proven track record of managing data projects.
Familiarity with data lineage tools and data governance best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional project management and organisational abilities.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to data governance.
