An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified actuary (or equivalent experience) to lead a small team at this Lloyd's business.
Specialists in the legacy and reinsurance structuring market, this organisation is one of the most exciting players in this space. Offering the opportunity to work across a range of portfolios you will take a leading role in providing quarterly reserving analyses working closely with the head of reserving and capital modelling. Although the role is reserving focused, there will also be opportunities to work on capital duties providing greater variety in this role.
Not only will you work on current Lloyd's and company business, but you will also be involved in new deals with the M&A team. This includes providing expert actuarial advice on new acquisitions.
Prior reserving experience is a must to be successful in this role and ideally across commercial lines. Lloyd's market experience is advantageous but is not a must.
This position is an opportunity to work in an interesting and crucial part of the insurance market, in a key actuarial position.
