Work closely with all areas of the business to manage and report on the entire risk profile. This involves collaborating with the entire business to help design the risk management framework, the risk appetite framework, and the risk register, also assist with developing innovative methodologies to understand the key and emerging risks related to the business and the wider business environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Play a key role in managing the risk register, which involves thoroughly reviewing sources of risk and ensuring the effectiveness of the controls used to mitigate these risks.
Managing the risk event register involves meticulously recording new events, thoroughly assessing potential impacts on the business, and decisively determining any necessary remedial actions following a risk event.
Take charge of the control review process.
Assists in data preparation and supports the annual risk review process with core risk group owners.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated understanding of commercial insurance.
1-2 years experience in Insurance
Strong capability to challenge and engage with risk owners to strengthen the risk environment.
Have extensive experience in risk management, actively participating in crucial processes such as comprehensive risk and control assessments, incident management, and regular risk reviews.
