Arthur is delighted to partner with our client who has a stellar name in the London market. They are offering the opportunity to join their business as a Senior accountant. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Consolidated financial statements for the UK parent company on an IFRS basis and quarterly management accounts on US GAAP.
Assist newly acquired entities with Group on-boarding on various accounting treatment decisions
Assist in production of financial and management accounts packs as required
Support the team to implement a top-in-class Corporate Reporting function and development and formalisation of financial controls
Finance business partner for the relevant entities with various internal and external stakeholders (Corporate accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, M&A, Legal, Compliance and APs)
Review of quarterly results for key movements and identify drivers independently
Preparing and assisting with budget packs and relevant analysis as required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing required.
Strong experience in consolidation accounting with foreign currency impacts
Professional accounting qualification preferred but not necessary. ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
High level of knowledge and awareness of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
