This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business in the London market and a member of a global top 10 insurance group, as an Senior FP&A Analyst role, you will be tasked with devoloping and having a proactive aprroach to implenting improvements in the current FP&A function.
Main responsabilities:
Reporting and Analysis of actual expenses against forecast and budget, providing detailed levels of insight and explanation to functions and to entities
Business Partnering a number of key functions, including facilitation of Budgeting and Forecasting for these functions together with data collation for Business Planning.
Supporting the transition from an Excel based budget and reporting processes to budgeting and reporting using the new Oracle System at service level detail
Development and implementation of tactical reporting solutions to service functions and entities,
Business Partnering with functions and entities
Exprience/skills
Qualified Accountant
Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis for Expenses
Working Knowledge of Expenses Allocations
Self-starter, that can own assigned projects to deliver to target project timelines
Experience in Business Partnering supporting senior leaders, with strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability setting up new processes and delivering change
Experience working with multiple stakeholders
Experience of delivering month end close, preparation of journals such as accruals/ prepayments
Demonstrated ability working in a fast paced environment with strong time management skills
Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
Advanced Excel skills with experience in working with large datasets
