Arthur has partnered with a leading Lloyd's insurance broker to support with their search for an interim Senior Auditor to join for 3-6 months, whilst they continue their search for a permanent hire. This role involves providing independent assurance on governance, risk management, and control processes. You'll collaborate closely with senior audit leadership, external partners, and the broader Legal, Risk & Compliance teams to support strategic goals through assurance and advisory engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits, including special projects.
Assist in planning and scoping audit engagements, understanding key risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Document processes, identify control weaknesses, and assess their root causes.
Prepare audit reports and support presentations to management.
Contribute to developing an annual audit plan and providing business advice.
Monitor and follow up on corrective actions, escalating issues when necessary.
Collaborate with external partners and contribute to global internal audit initiatives.
Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance across the organisation.
Qualifications:
Experience in audit roles within financial services, preferably in insurance or brokerage.
Strong knowledge of risk and controls audit methodologies and practices.
Excellent project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with FCA regulations and ITGC is a plus.
Relevant degree and professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Other Information:
Daily Rate (outside IR35): £700-£900 depending on exp
