Arthur is delighted to announce that it has partnered with a leading global insurer and re-insurer in search of Senior analyst based in their London office. This is a very unique opportunity within the a global pricing, modelling and R&D team whereby you will work closely with regional heads of department to contribute to bespoke projects aimed at refining understanding of modelling and natural peril risks across all portfolios. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the cat model R&D lead to evaluate new vendor models and model updates.
- Support research projects addressing areas of uncertainty and limitations in vendor models, contributing to an enriched understanding of natural perils.
- Contribute to climate change impact studies and its implications on risk assessment.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the Nat Cat model realm through partnerships with academia and industry.
- Support the enhancement of process automation and efficiency.
- Participate in global event response analysis and reporting.

Required Experience & Competencies:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Cat Modelling.
- Strong skills in mathematics, statistics, and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - to interact across all levels of the business.
