Arthur are partnered with a highly-respected Lloyd’s business operating on both Syndicate and Company platforms to introduce an expert and knowledgeable Senior Terrorism Claims Adjuster. Due to their ongoing success, the team continues to grow, they are looking for someone to provide outstanding support to the Active Underwriter as well representing the company in a market/client facing role.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex Terrorism claims, including, attending market meetings, handling TPAs and vendor auditing whilst liaising with brokers, stakeholders and insureds.
Your Role:
Adjust, assess, and manage assigned claims within own defined authority
Ensuring coverage is accurately reviewed and that reserving is correctly set and maintained
Ensure proactive claims handling
Setting of file strategies and negotiating settlement in accordance with policy terms
Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and all statutory requirements always relating to claims handling
Ensure large and complex losses are managed/escalated correctly
Prompt reporting on large losses both internally and to reinsurers
Attend market claims meeting
Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members, including referral support
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Good knowledge of ECF/Class or other London market systems
Good understanding of general principles of insurance
Good understanding of the London market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets)
Appropriate technical knowledge for this level
Awareness of the regulatory environment and requirements
