Position: Senior Manager -Financial Risk
About the Role
A large Global insurance group is looking to hire a Senior Manager to work within their Lloyd’s syndicate function. The business delivers innovative (re)insurance solutions globally.
As a Senior Manager you will join their leadership team, taking charge of financial risk management while collaborating on quantitative risk activities within the Risk function.
 
In this role, you will:

• Build strong stakeholder relationships in Finance and Investments
• Challenge and review management of investment, credit, and liquidity risk
• Provide fresh insights on investment portfolio management
• Lead risk assessments and support risk identification
• Develop stress tests and scenario analyses
• Present findings to senior stakeholders and regulators
• Foster a risk-aware culture
• You should have:
• Significant financial risk management experience
• Proficiency in risk methodologies and communication
• Autonomy and collaboration skills

Desirable Experience

• Significant experience of financial risk management in the context of and insurance company (life or non-life), consultancy or rating agency
• Understanding of liquidity and counterparty risk
• Quantitative risk modelling
• CFA, FIA or equivalent mathematical degree
