Arthur is excited to be supporting a highly-respected global Insurer operating on both Company and Syndicate platforms to hire a Senior Claims Adjuster with strong skill set and experience in Motor Treaty claims. Due to their ongoing success, the team continues to grow, they are looking for someone to manage and oversee a portfolio of Motor Treaty claims through London Market Systems and assist with MGA/TPA claims relationships/performance.
 
Your Role:

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing Treaty partners as well as MGA’s/TPA’s providing effective over sight and monitoring of claims performance with the aim of minimising spend
  • Attend and lead monthly claims performance meetings internally with claims and underwriters as well as externally with clients
  • Perform due diligence for potential Treaty/MGA/TPA clients where required
  • Positively Influence the strategy, handling, and settlement of claims
  • Check and adjust case reserves and ensure adequate provision is made for outstanding liabilities
  • Identify and analyse legal, political and market developments. Report those developments and their potential impact on the business to relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain relationships with Client Managers, Underwriters and relevant stakeholders providing feedback as appropriate
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients maximising and promoting reputation as technical experts and market leaders on motor claims related topics
  • Provide technical and operational support to the Claims Manager

 
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing Motor Large Losses excess £250,000.
  • Preferential experience with MGA and TPA claims referrals, oversight and account performance
  • Full understanding of the motor claims process including FNOL, AD, supplier management, MOJ, credit hire, Fraud, BI, Intervention and Large Loss
  • Able to contribute to discussions on strategy and developing issues
  • Able to analyse and set reserves
  • This role requires a person who has experience of the workings of a Motor Insurance
