Arthur have partnered with a highly respected global specialty (re)insurer to introduce an actuarial analyst to their well-established pricing team. Their team is in a period of growth, and they are looking for a knowledgeable senior actuarial analyst to provide support to their pricing team across multiple lines of business. 

The desirable candidate will be a part/nearly/newly qualified actuarial analyst and have experience in general insurance. A candidate with Lloyd’s and/or London Market experience would be desirable. Proficiency in excel is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong working relationships with the other pricing actuarial analysts and underwriters.
• Provide pricing support across multiple lines of business.
• Assist in the development and deployment of pricing models.
• Assist with the parameterisation of the internal model.
• Utilise knowledge of the market to successfully adapt pricing techniques.
• Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.

 
From you they are looking:

• Part/nearly/newly qualified actuarial analyst.
• Actuarial analyst experience in general insurance.
• A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
