Senior Pricing Analyst

Senior Pricing Analyst: £50,000 - £75,000

A leading general insurer is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their pricing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Pricing to provide analysis including portfolio profitability analysis, assumption setting, maintenance, calibration of and building new pricing models, individual risk experience rating, building relationships with underwriting and claims, maintenance of KPIs reporting as required, and input into the premium risk parameterisation process for the internal model. Other duties as required by the business will also be part of the role.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis to the Head of Pricing
• Portfolio profitability analysis
• Maintenance, calibration of and building new pricing models
• Individual risk experience rating
• Building relationships with underwriting and claims
• Input into the premium risk parameterisation process for the internal model
• Ensure risk management and maintaining a robust control environment is incorporated

 
Experience:

• Non-life Pricing Experience with minimum 2 years’ experience
• Knowledge of various actuarial pricing techniques
• Ideally knowledge of machine learning techniques
• Any experience in one or more of the following: Excel / VBA, R, Access / SQL, Word
