Senior Pricing Analyst (Commercial Pricing) – General Insurance: £50,000 - £65,000

A leading insurer is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to play a key role in delivering their commercial pricing strategy and support their Transformation Programme. This is a great opportunity to work alongside their Change Function, Group Pricing, Data, Portfolio Management, and Underwriting teams. The successful candidate will lead the development and deployment of Radar models to price business and provide analysis on the impact of price changes, while working with external consultancies and suppliers.

The successful candidate will deliver pricing analysis that is used to drive commercial decisions and deliver enhancements to their products and pricing techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in delivering commercial pricing strategy and deliver commercial street pricing analysis.
• Be a major contributor to transformational changes to enhance the companies pricing capability.
• Contribute to the development of pricing structures and strategies.
• Implement pricing models in a timely and precise manner.
• Lead the migration of pricing models onto the Radar Live platform.

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of three years of general insurance pricing experience
• Strong experience of using Radar pricing software
• Experience using data analysis tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA (beneficial)
• Business acumen as well as an understanding of the insurance sector
• A high degree of numerical ability

Beneficial experience:

• Ability to manage multiple work requests and work with project managers.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and/or experience of using Agile tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
