Senior Pricing Analyst - General Insurance

Senior Pricing Analyst: £40,000 - £55,000

A well-established insurer is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their Pricing Department. The successful candidate will undertake statistical analysis to support product and pricing development, improving the pricing and products offered to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out and deliver pricing analysis, interpreting the output and communicating the results to a technical & non-technical audience
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant internal business information, forecasts, and analysis
• Consider customer impacts when proposing pricing changes and document work for implementation and future reference or review
• Build and maintain relationships with teams involved in the Pricing end-to-end delivery process

 
Requirements:
The role requires previous experience in pricing or a related field such as data/statistical analytics, and excellent analytical skills, with experience in programming languages such as SAS, Python, or R.

• Previous experience within general insurance pricing or related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of pricing optimization and testing different optimization strategies for new business or renewals
• Experience in one or more programming languages such as SAS, Python, R
