A global re/insurer is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to start a unique opportunity within their London office. The role is not something that you will come across often due to the diversity and breadth of the work across the reinsurance arm of the business. This individual will work closely with the Capital and Reserving Actuarial teams, exposure management, risk management, finance and underwriting. The day to day will be project based and helping with the underlying reinsurance strategy for the UK office combined with capital and validation tasks, exposure profiles and risk appetites. This is a truly exciting opportunity for an actuarial student with a few years of industry experience looking to broaden their experience and create an undeniably strong foundation for their actuarial career.
The ideal candidate will be making good progress with their actuarial exams and have 2+ years of industry experience. Those with prior capital or reinsurance experience will be highly suited to this role, but those who are looking to get exposure to those areas are also encouraged to apply!
This role will pay £60k - £80k depending on experience and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week.
