The primary objective of this position is to aid the Enterprise Risk Management team in establishing and sustaining a robust risk management framework throughout the growing company while fostering a culture of heightened risk awareness across the organisation. Responsibilities
Risk Management Framework: Assist in developing and integrating all elements of the risk management framework, working alongside the ERM Risk Manager.
ORSA Coordination: Plan and oversee the collection of data for the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) report, contributing to the final report production.
Risk Assessment: Coordinate the quarterly risk and control self-assessment process, including control evaluation and supporting review workshops with Risk and Control Owners.
Risk Incident Management: Facilitate the reporting of risk incidents and maintain the Risk Incident Register, ensuring root cause analysis is conducted and follow-up actions are implemented.
Deep Dives: Support in-depth investigations identified by the Enterprise Risk Management team.
Emerging Risks: Assist in identifying, analysing, and reporting on new and emerging risks.
Report Production: Contribute to the creation of risk management reports for internal Committees and Board(s).
Initiative Support: Provide proactive risk management guidance for major initiatives and projects.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and Finance teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding and review of ORSA requirements within the enterprise risk management framework.
System Maintenance: Support in the development and upkeep of the risk management system.
Ad-hoc Assistance: Offer ad-hoc support and respond to requests from the Head of ERM and ERM Risk Manager.
Requirements
Profound expertise in Enterprise Risk Management and a track record of successful implementation.
Prior experience in the non-life insurance sector.
Skill in cultivating and sustaining productive relationships throughout the organisation.
