Arthur is delighted to have partnered with a leading Lloyd's insurer in helping them hire an experienced Senior Wordings Underwriter to join their Wordings department. 
Over the past year this team has seen an increase in demand for wordings talent in the company, this damand has created scope to grow their wordings function where they have recently created a role for a Senior Wordings Underwriter. 
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of wordings from property & casualty to specie to cyber. This is an exciting opportunity that can develop in a lot of different directions. 

You will be working with a company that has global offices and offers a structured working environment. 

Key duties include: 

• You will report into the Customer Oversight Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that wordings documentation is reviewed, negotiated and agreed in a timely and professional manner. 
• This role includes responsibilities such as ensuring the wording contains no ambiguity and preventing the insurer from providing more cover than agreed.
• You will protect the interest of the Lloyd’s Platform by paying attention to detail, developing an understanding of market practice and current market issues, and being able to maintain confidentiality.
• The role also involves maintaining ownership of those wordings rejected to the brokers until finally agreed and liaising with underwriters/claims adjusters on technical issues.
