The team has seen a surge in demand for wordings expertise in recent months, leading to the creation of this new role.
As a Wordings Underwriter, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of wordings, including property & casualty, specie, and cyber.

You will be working with a company that has global offices and offers a structured working environment. 

Key duties include: 

• You will report into the Customer Oversight Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that wordings documentation is reviewed, negotiated and agreed in a timely and professional manner. 
• This role includes responsibilities such as ensuring the wording contains no ambiguity and preventing the insurer from providing more cover than agreed.
• You will protect the interest of the Lloyd’s Platform by paying attention to detail, developing an understanding of market practice and current market issues, and being able to maintain confidentiality.
• The role also involves maintaining ownership of those wordings rejected to the brokers until finally agreed and liaising with underwriters/claims adjusters on technical issues.
