Underwriting Technical Assistant - 12 Month Contract

Underwriting Technical Assistant 

Arthur has partnered with a Lloyd's syndicate in helping them find a Underwriting Technical Assistant for a 12 month contract. In this position you will be responsible for providing reliable and effective administrative support to the Facultative and Direct underwriters. You will also be responsible for making sure that the underwriters have accurate and up to date information to assist them in performing their duties.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• You will work closely with the other Technical assistants in the department, and Underwriters to create and maintain accurate information. 
• Entering of renewals, endorsements and new business. 
• Monitor and ensure that all risks are entered correctly. 
• Recording, monitoring and reporting of premiums.
• Ensuring that all Tax allocations presented with slips are accurate.
• Investigating differences between Estimated and Booked premiums.
• Scanning and Indexing of paper records and contractual documents.
• Reviewing slips and contract documents for correctness.

What you need: 

• Experience working in the insurance /reinsurance environment. 
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Strong IT Skills. 
• Someone that is organised, hardworking and a team player.
